Love vacation time!  I get to paint what ever I want.  Sometimes you need that..  A lot less like work when your painting for yourself not for others.  Not that I mind commission work and while I do enjoy painting what others like.. I find I'm more connected to the subject.
Here are two that I have been wanting to do for a few weeks. Its raining here.. but that is ok. .More time to paint!

    Love these, Catherine, especially the rooster. If you ever come to my house you will see I love roosters and chickens. When we were building the house, I kept ordering things through LTD. After 3 years of waiting it was like opening Christmas presents and believe me some of them I had forgotten I had bought. I could not believe all the things I had bought that had chickens and roosters on them. 8 years later I am still enjoying them.
    Hope your vacation is great. You will have to tell me all the neat places you go as we are thinking of going there for a month or two after the 1st of the year, Good Lord willing. Looking forward to it.. Have a great vacation.

    Hey Gal... Thanks.. I love the fowl too! Joe not so much he can't understand "Kitchen Art." lol. We come down every year.. And we will be coming down again in Feb. I'll tell ya about it when we get back.
